Oliver Luck has filed a suit against WWE, Alpha, and XFL owner Vince McMahon. The case was filed in Connecticut, where Alpha and WWE are based, last Thursday.

According to Darren Rovell of the Action Network, Luck is claiming he was wrongfully terminated when McMahon decided to let everyone go, and put the XFL in bankruptcy in early April.

Luck is seeking to be paid everything his contract said he would be owed. As there was a clause that would pay the remaining balance if he was terminated without cause. Luck signed a 5-year deal worth $20 million (could be as much as $25 million) to be the league’s commissioner.

Most league executives were excluded from the creditor’s list, as McMahon filed to have their contracts rejected when the bankruptcy was given to the court. The court approved the rejections, leaving Luck no choice but to sue if he wanted to see his money. We have the lawsuit paperwork available below, some information has been redacted for legal purposes.

According to the report, McMahon’s lawyers have filed a motion to dismiss. Claiming that by filing the suit against McMahon personally, there is no grounds, since the contract was not with McMahon, rather with Alpha Entertainment.

This, as other news coming from the XFL since the league folded, is a fluid situation, stay with PSN as the story develops.
