Keefer’s Three-Round Mock Draft By Division- NFC East

There are piles of mock drafts floating around, some great and some just straight trash. I mean the Giants taking a QB in the first round, really? This mock draft is unique and unlike others you will read. It is based on a mix of professional scouting, team needs, high-level rumors, and Austin Smith’s Top 100 Player Board. We will continue with the ever-dramatic NFC East.

Dallas Cowboys

#17- K’Lavon Chaisson-LB-LSU

This seems like a no-brainer for Dallas. They have had issues with depth and injuries at LB. Chaisson is likely the second-best pass rusher in the class, even if he’s had his own share of injures. Just seems like the Dallas way.

#51- KJ Hamler-WR-Penn St

Hamler will be a nice slot receiver for Dallas, someone who has big-play abilities. It’ll help get Cooper and Gallup open more with Hamler on the field.

#82- James Morgan-QB-Florida International

The talks with Dak don’t seem too promising and word is Dallas will take a QB later in the draft in case. Morgan will be available and has buzz around him. He’s got good size and a quality arm.

New York Giants

#4- Tristian Wirfs-OT-Iowa

There is no truth in the Giants pulling for a top QB, it’s a poor bluff. They need to protect Daniel Jones and Wirfs is one of the best tackles available in the draft.

#36- Curtis Weaver-LB-Boise St

Weaver is a sack machine and can play against the run and pass. He will serve as a great new addition to the weak linebacker core.

#99- Tyler Biadasz-C-Wisconsin

Jones needs a lot of help up front and Biadasz will be a major upgrade at C.

Philadelphia Eagles

#21- Kenneth Murray-LB-Oklahoma

He’s a natural leader and the Eagles need some quality linebackers. Most see a WR here but it’s a deep class this year.

#53- Laviska Shenault-WR-Colorado

Shenault is one of those gems in this deep class. He’s lesser-known but has a skillset that makes him versatile. The Eagles can do so much with someone like him.

#103- Eno Benjamin-RB-Arizona St

Eno doesn’t have to win the starting job, even though it’s possible. He is a solid returner and can be a three-down back. His style is bit unorthodox but is productive and a dual-threat as an RB.

Washington Redskins

#2- Chase Young-DE-Ohio St

The Redskins have a lot of holes in their roster and Young is by far the best player on the board. The offense needs attention but Young can change that defense in a minute.

#66- Matt Peart-OT-UConn

Peart is a work-in-progress prospect but has a very high ceiling. His long arms do him some good. There is a massive hole at LT and Haskins needs al the help to turn his career around.
