Report:
Per Nikie Mayo of the AndersonIndependent, former Clemson running back C.J. Fuller died from a blood clot, and deep-vein thrombosis sustained from a knee injury Fuller suffered while playing at Clemson.
Fuller was 22 at the time of his death on October 3rd of this year. He played at Clemson from 2015-2017, including the National Championship team in 2016.
The blood clot had reached his lung, causing his death.
The news came as a result of an investigation by the Pickens County Coroner’s office.
