Comments: Lawrence leads off the class as the top QB I’ve ever graded, but we could each of the top five prospects on this list have an impact as a rookie. An incredible season has vaulted Wilson to two on this list, while Fields continued to live up to the hype that has surrounded him since high school.
Lance may need some patience but has the upside to develop into something very special, and Jones is an NFL-ready leader at the position with less risk than some ranked higher. Trask’s career path at Florida has shown that he knows how to prepare each week, whether he’s starting or in a backup role. Mills and Mond have intriguing traits that can be developed to make them a future starter in the league, and both could slide into day two as well. Newman and Franks are a bit further behind, but both have NFL arms and size that could eventually lead to them moving up the depth chart. |
