The end of the 2018 football season didn’t end well for Florida State. It didn’t get any better when incumbent quarterback Deondre Francois was allegedly involved in a domestic violence incident. The school released the QB after a video was released by the then-girlfriend of the quarterback, claiming he assaulted her.
The former Seminole was never charged, and it was never officially reported to the police.
The quarterback has now found a new home, as he will walk-on at Florida-Atlantic University, where he will be eligible immediately, after graduating from FSU.
Francois had a tumultuous 2018, throwing for 2,731 yards, 15 tds, and 12 in 11 games. He missed all of the 2017 season after suffering a leg injury in the season-opener against Alabama. That season was to be a breakout year, following an ACC Rookie of the Year performance in 2016, throwing for 3,350 yards, and 20 tds.
